Hazardous Zoning Classification And Risk Assessment
PLM have developed a unique system for hazardous zoning that covers flammable vapours, dusts, powders etc. Using methodology adapted from BS 60079 our system is capable of:
- Assessing whether an explosive atmosphere can develop
- Assessing the most appropriate zone classification for the area, and
- Determining the potential size and shape of any hazardous zone.
From the above information, together with a site visit, we can then produce a hazardous zoning risk assessment and give you recommendations and priorities on how to reduce or manage the risk.
Our zone classifications are provided to you in coloured drawings that clearly show where your zones are situated and their shape and extent.
