Course objectives:
At the end of the course delegates will understand the role of the fire marshal and know the actions to be taken in the event of fire to protect the safety of themselves and other people.
Who should attend:
This course is suitable for people assisting with, or managing, the evacuation of buildings. Trainees should have fire safety awareness training including the use of fire extinguishers. If required this can be incorporated into this course.
Course duration:
1 hour. Can be extended to 3 hours to include fire safety awareness.

- The role of the fire marshal
- Checking an area
- Talking to distressed people
- Roll calls and sweep searches.

This course is appropriate for all fire marshals for initial and refresher training.

All our tutors are qualified fire safety personnel with fire brigade experience.
Delegate numbers:
The suggested maximum number of delegates is twelve per course to ensure maximum benefit from the training.
