On-line training for the Care Home Sector
We appreciate how difficult it is to get staff together for the essential training needed in fire safety and patient/resident evacuation. With PLM's on-line training each member of staff can work their way through the modules at their own pace any time day or night.
The modules have been developed especially for the Care Home Sector and include a competency test. Developed by fire safety experts, they give you the benefit of consistent, specialist training without the expense of an on-site trainer. On completion, staff can print their certificate and the Care Home Administrator has full access to the training records.
Great care has been taken to ensure that relevant information is given at the right level and the trainee can return to any page at any time. Topics are divided into convenient modules and a module does not have to be completed in a single session, making for easy studying and no disruption to staff routines.
Administration of the training is easy - you simply allocate a module to a member of staff and give them their user name and password. All they need is a laptop or PC with internet access (Internet Explorer 7 is the preferred browser but is not essential) and you can add more modules to their portfolio at any time
