Suitable for use with breathing apparatus sets. The line should be fitted into a pouch and secured to the breathing apparatus harness. The line allows two working lengths i.e. 1.25 metres and the full 6 metres. The running end is fitted with a large snap hook to allow it to be secured to a colleague’s breathing apparatus set or to a breathing apparatus guideline.
PLM recommend that all breathing apparatus sets that may be worn in poor visibility, or that may be worn by wearers working with or alongside the fire service, should be fitted with a personal line and pouch.
