Suitable for use by entry control officers in charge of the breathing apparatus entry control board. The black and yellow chequers are standard markings for entry control officers tabards in the UK and will be recognised by all the emergency services. The tabard is sized to fit over normal working clothing, including fire kit or outdoor clothing. It can be easily and quickly donned and is held in place with a Velcro band.
PLM recommend that a tabard should be worn, by the entry control officer, whenever breathing apparatus is in use.
